I guess you are talking about Manipal university's. If yes, then it couldn't maintained its recognition from DEC after Oct'2012. So any courses being offered in distance mode stands invalid automatically. Refer: http://www.dec.ac.in/Documents/Press%20Release-dec.pdf
DEC recognition and approval is required to offer any distance courses. You can check the list of recognition expired universities here :
http://www.dec.ac.in/Documents/Recogniton%20Expired%20-%20List%20-%2031.01.2013.pdf
SMU itself confirmed its recognition validity is for 2012 academic year only. Refer: http://smude.edu.in/faqs/about-university
So, if you are looking for any alternate university for your MS then choose any one from this list :http://www.dec.ac.in/Documents/currentstatus.pdf
But, don't choose any university which is breaching its territory defined by DEC.
Education is always worthy no matter it generate revenue for you or not. You yourself get proud with your education. Please refer : http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Blogs/11451/will-distance-mode-education-affect-my-career.aspx
All the best!!!

Secondly, coming to your points:
1. We canot get lecturer job in Engineering College.
Engineering colleges follows AICTE guidelines. Earlier they were appointing any master degree from any recognized university no matter that master course was AICTE recognize or not. But after strictness from AICTE, they stopped this appoint according to its guidelines. But recently honorable supreme court has given an verdict which is going to impact AICTE scope. refer: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Blogs/11592/aicte-approval-is-not-required-for-mca-and-mba.aspx
Kindly note this verdict is for MCA & MBA and not for BTech, MTech or other engineering courses.
Advice: If you are serious about your qualification, please go for IGNOU courses. Its MCA course is AICTE recognized and you are able for lecturer job. Many are working as lecturer in government engineering colleges as lecturer. Don't be confused this AICTE course recognition with DEC's joint recognition.
Otherwise you can go for AMIE courses. you can go for IETE (http://www.iete.org/)
2. It is not approved by AICTE
Not any distance universities's MCA course is AICTE recognized but IGNOU's MCA. You can check AICTE website for updated list anytime.
3.very rare chance to get admission for PHD since it is not approved by AICTE
AICTE approval is nothing to do for doing PhD. For PhD, any valid master degree is required in respective subject. There are many universities who are making huge money. refer: http://www.indianexpress.com/news/meghalaya-varsity-gives-434-ph.d.-degrees-in-one-year-faces-probe/1110427/
4. Course fee is high as compare to VTU M.TECH
You can't compare private distance universities that exist for generating revenues.
I doubt about the quality of education being offered from these kind of universities where you have to tick from objective questions/answers . These universities have different assessment pattern for their regular courses but for making money and attracting candidates they come with objective type pattern of assessment.
Hope I would have answered you.
Thanks and all the best.

Thanks for posting nice reply. Yes Manipal University is also offering Part time M.S course for working professional.
But there are some problem, my friend also told me,
1. We canot get lecturer job in Engineering College.
2. It is not approved by AICTE
3. very rare chance to get admission for PHD since it is not approved by AICTE
4. Course fee is high as compare to VTU M.TECH
But syllabus is very good and practical as compare other university.
Then there is only one option to do part time M.Tech from VTU.
