Again it depends on how you clear your interview. But yes, 5K is the least you can get at a place like Chennai :)

Try to improve your skills and you can even negotiate your salary in your current company's appraisal.

Thanks Nitesh, Can you please tell how much the Basic Salary rage for WP8 developers ,i got only 5k/month.Now i'm working in Chennai. please give some suggestions. Thank you in Advance

Suresh, It depends on what exactly you plan to move forward and what technologies you've already learnt in WP8 and W8 development. The best way to move to next level is to start looking into complex problems and try to resolve them with your own approach. once you have a problem and you resolve it, you are already moving up the ladder learning new things.
