Hi,

I have a windows setup. Database is in sql. I installed setup and create database in server. Now I need to install setup 2 other systems. But database is in Server only. So how can other systems share sql database from server. (All systems are connected with internet ). Please help/ Its urgent.

Hi, you can mention your connection string as below:

Server=myServerName\myInstanceName;Database=myDataBase;User Id=myUsername; Password=myPassword;

no specific changes needs to be done to SQL Server if the installation was correct.

you can access the sql db located at the server from any other sql server or VS application's connection string. all you need is the IP address of the server where the the DB is located and also the Instance of the SQL server installed at the same location.
If there is UserName and Password on that DB(which is usually there) then you would need those details as well.
