Writing an object?

Is it possible to write an object in C#? I know in java this is a ObjectOutputStream. What I want to do is write my object to a file. Thanks for any help.

Hi Serialize: Convert an object to a sequence of bytes. Deserialize: Convert bytes back to an object. There are several possible ways (formats) to serialize/deserialize objects.
