wshttp binding in Silverlight 3?

Is "wshttp" binding supported in Silverlight 3.0 ? If no, why ?

If possible, please point me to a link that explains why wshttp is not supported by Silverlight 3.0.

No. Wshttbinding is still not available under silverlight 3 as per my knowledge. The only stuff that is available are the a) basicHttpBinding b) basicClearTextBinding c) pollingDuplexHttpBinding The reason for the non-availability of the other bindings is because these bindings require few features that are not yet supported by the Silverlight client. In your case, the "WSHttpBinding" requires transactions and sessions which are not yet supported.
