xml content load in BitmapImage

Question

Hi all, I have one scenario like I will get xml content [ xml is nothing but image content ] in repsonse so I need to load the xml content in BitmapImage in wpf mvvm using c# code. Can anyone help me on this. Thanks in advance.

Hi Rajanikant, Thank you for your response, In my case xml content is different, like xml itself one image [ Dymo label xml content ], there is no image tag in xml. Could you suggest any other solution

Hi Rama Krishna, Hava look here, Reading the Image from the XML file. Now that we have the Bitmap as part of our XML file, we need a way to read the Base64 String back into a Bitmap object: string val = currentXml.Element( "image" ).Value; byte [] bytes = Convert.FromBase64String(val); MemoryStream mem = new MemoryStream(bytes); Bitmap bmp2 = new Bitmap(mem); In this example, we retrieve the XML text, convert it to a byte[] using Convert.FromBase64String(), use that to create a MemoryStream, and finally use the MemoryStream to create the Bitmap. Naturally, you can make this more concise: Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap( new MemoryStream(Convert.FromBase64String(currentXml.Element( "image" ).Value))); You can bind this Bitmap bmp object to image control at your WPF application using MVVM Pattern and MVVM is not complex you can do it. I personally don't like the mvvm architecture as myself feels limited other than that you can read the xml image node and show them in imagebox (obviously in a normal way)
