Question

Ih, I hava a xml file, i would like to put him in a SQL database, do anyone knows how to do it? Help me please, sory for the mistakes

mike's response was on the money, have a look into doing it using that technique. Or if you don't want to use the dataAdapter just create some Insert statements, or pass the values into a stored proc to perform the insert. You can get data from SQL Server 2000 in XML, but you can't just pass it back XML and expect it to insert it into a table.

my file is in the correct form, i only don´t know how to transfer him to the sql database, could you give some hints how to do it

.NET provides you with an Xml namespace for parsing xml. If your file is in the correct format, then you can just read it into the dataset using the ReadXml method in the DataSet class. My guess is its not in the right format, so you should check out the xml section on this site and use those examples to figure out how to read an xml file and then use the Insert architecture in DataAdapters to populate your sequel database as your read in your information. -Mike G.
