4 yrs experience
i have 4 years of experience in IT but i do not have much of command on any language.Kindly suggest me java or dotnet ,which would have better for my career prospect.

I would prefer .NET...
It has many new architectures and frameworks...
WCF, WPF, MVC, MVVM, AngularJs, vNext, etc...

Its basically depends on your interest / passion. Also you mentioned that you have 4 yrs of experience. so based on that experience take a decision.
If you would like to share then share in which technology you have 4 yrs of experience.
