Comment Reply mail Notification

Is the present system has option to enable Comment reply mail notification.In our article if some one post comments and asking question.If we reply to them is that possible to send mail notification to the user .same time if the user again post reply comment we don't get any notification. Every time we need to check for that article and reply to him.If comments mail notification not available how about adding that.
