sample IQ question how to find ligher ball by waiting 8 ball in pedulm weigth exactly two times

if weight of 1+2+3 is equal to weight of 4+5+6 then weight 7 and 8, you will get the lighter one.
if weight of 1+2+3 is not equal to weight of 4+5+6 then take take the lighter group.
Lets take 1,2,3 for now and now do the following step:
weight 1 and 2, if equal, 3rd is lighter. If not equal, weight 1 and 3, you will get the lighter.
Same step for 4,5,6 if they are lighter then 1,2,3.

Hi all..
case I: Drop 123 vs 456 in pendulum if both has same weight then put all six balls aside and its easy to find lightest ball in another two balls(7 & 8) with in two weighings.
Case II: Drop 123 vs 456 in pendulum if any side has more weight than automatically we can find lightest ball among those three by weighting it in pendulum by second time...
Its quite easy..:-)

1st Weight = 123 balls Vs 456balls; if matched then
2nd Weight = 7 Vs 8
2nd Weight = 7 Vs 8

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 balls
Case1:1,2,3 weigh against 4,5,6 (if matched), weigh 7,8 to find lighter
Case 2:if one of the 1,2,3 or 4,5,6 are lighter,
take the lighter one (for e.g if 1,2,3 is lighter)
take 1 weigh against 3 if they are equal 2 is lighter
otherwise it is either 1 or 3, you can know when you are weighing its lighter or not
(Same goes for 4,5,6 if thats lighter set)
