Remoting is a distributed technology provided towards .net application to .net app communication under homogeneous or heterogeneous platform.
Remoting provides 2 types of channels for communication between .net applications

•   tcpchannel  (only for homogeneous platform)
  
•   httpchnnel (both homogeneous & heterogeneous platform)
