As an Experienced Front End Application Developer at IBM, you will play a pivotal role in translating system requirements into robust, user-centric applications. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with senior resources to design, develop, and deploy customized systems. Your expertise in front-end technologies and best practices will be essential as you architect solutions that meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and scalability.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Expertise in front-end frameworks/libraries such as React.js and understanding of its core principles.
- Experience with GraphQL, OOJS, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of the JavaScript object model and proficiency in unit testing (Mocha/Jest/Jasmine) and automated functional testing (Selenium/TestCafe).
- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and enterprise application deployment strategies.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to prototype technical solutions and participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture reviews.
- Familiarity with web-related concepts including browser compatibility, accessibility, performance optimization, UI testing, DNS, traffic management, and load balancing.
