Job Background/Context

• The role involves application development, detailed design documentation, and defect fixing for the integration application on the core banking platform (FlexiBUS).
• Responsibilities include analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis of incidents, development, deployment of fixes, and application enhancements.
• Proactive and independent work to address support requirements and articulate issues with lead time for risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Core application development, detailed design document work, and SIT/UAT defect fixing.
• Analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis of incidents, and development/deployment of required fixes/application enhancements.
• Prioritize and validate complex information from multiple sources, applying skills and business knowledge to develop creative solutions.
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during defect resolution/application enhancements.

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience

• 5 to 8 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in Talend technology.
• Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience in other ETL tools like Ab initio is an added advantage.
• Proficient in shell scripting (Korn, Bash).
• Knowledge of XML, XSD/DTD Schemas.
• RDBMS - Oracle/SQL Server, Scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Connectivity protocols – Knowledge of NDM, MQ, JMS, and SFTP.
• Exposure to messaging systems like KAFKA would be desirable.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology with a background in science, computers, information technology, or engineering.

Other Requirements

Willingness to work late in the evening India time or in shifts on a need basis to interact with US/EMEA onshore teams and meet urgent client requests.
