As an Associate Software Engineer at Cornerstone, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable solutions for some of the world's leading organizations. Working collaboratively within a global team, you'll leverage agile methodologies to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and Maintenance. Design, develop, and enhance .NET applications across both legacy systems and modern cloud platforms, utilizing technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and React.
- Agile Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, to define project scopes, contribute to feature design, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ownership and Quality Assurance. Take ownership of your codebase, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through unit tests, integration tests, and automated functional tests. Manage deployments, monitor applications in production, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Technical Leadership. Mentor junior team members, uphold best practices in software development, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience. Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with C#.NET, proficiency in ASP.NET and SQL Server preferred.
- Technical Skills. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with tools like Jenkins, and AWS fundamentals. Knowledge of GraphQL and React is a plus.
- Problem-Solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and ownership-driven mindset.
- Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts and project details effectively.
- Agile Experience. Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments, delivering results iteratively and collaboratively.
