Job Description

As an Automation Architect, you will be at the heart of Ericsson’s most transformative projects. You’ll lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable, and intelligent automation solutions that integrate Java technologies with advanced AI/ML capabilities. This is a hands-on and strategic role that combines deep technical expertise with innovation and leadership.

Responsibilities

  1. Architect End-to-End Solutions. Design and implement comprehensive technical solutions that leverage Java and AI/ML technologies to meet complex business and technical requirements.
  2. Drive High-Level Design (HLD). Own and lead the HLD process, ensuring that all components align with architectural best practices, scalability, performance, and reusability.
  3. Customer-Centric Analysis. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand technology landscapes and business challenges. Perform in-depth requirement analysis and risk assessments to create impactful solutions.
  4. Collaborate Across Teams. Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ideate and implement innovative technical strategies.
  5. Create Technical Proposals & Presentations. Prepare and deliver detailed, compelling technical documentation, demos, and proposals for both internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Knowledge Sharing & Leadership. Be a mentor and thought leader within your team. Lead knowledge transfer sessions, foster collaboration, and encourage the continuous learning of Java and AI/ML trends.
  7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement. Stay ahead of the curve with emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies in Java and AI/ML. Provide valuable feedback and suggestions to improve product performance and delivery.

What You Bring to the Team

  1. Strong Core Java Expertise. At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Core Java, including multi-threading, OOP principles, and advanced backend development.
  2. Experience with Scripting & Integration Tools. Proficiency in Jscript, Java Enable, and Groovy, with an understanding of how to effectively use them within automation and integration environments.
  3. AI/ML Implementation Experience. Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI/ML-based solutions in real-world applications using Java or integrated frameworks.
  4. Solid Design Thinking. Practical experience in software design patterns, architectural principles, and building robust, scalable enterprise systems.
  5. Problem Solver & Innovator. Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
  6. Communication & Leadership. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, lead discussions, and inspire team collaboration.
