We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing automation frameworks and scripts for large enterprise applications primarily in a Linux-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Understanding. Gain a deep understanding of existing applications, their configurations, and build/test strategies.
- Script Development. Develop automation scripts for the automatic execution of various application components to meet business requirements.
- Test Data Management. Collect test results data from different components, aggregate reports, and manage bug tracking.
- Test Case Creation. Develop test cases, automation scripts, perform testing, debug automation code, and provide detailed reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum of 3 years in Linux development environments.
- Scripting Expertise. Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, Ruby, or similar languages with at least four years of hands-on experience.
- Test Automation. Solid understanding of test automation methodologies and frameworks.
- Configuration Management. Knowledge of build and configuration tools such as Bazel and Jenkins.
- Repository Management. Familiarity with repository management tools like Git and Bitbucket.
- Debugging. Excellent debugging skills and strategies.
- Communication. Strong communication skills and experience working in an Agile environment.

Location and Travel
This is an individual contributor role based in Bangalore. You may be required to travel to other locations within India and internationally.
