Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud technologies and migration projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating our clients' transition from on-premises infrastructure to the Azure cloud platform. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based solutions tailored to meet the unique business requirements of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of on-premises Active Directory infrastructure to Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless integration and authentication across hybrid environments.
  • Plan and execute the migration of Exchange Server infrastructure to Exchange Online within Office 365, leveraging migration tools such as Exchange Hybrid Configuration Wizard.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for cloud-based device management and application deployment, enhancing endpoint security and supporting modern workplace initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to migrate SharePoint on-premises sites and data to SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity and collaboration capabilities in the cloud.
  • Implement Azure Information Protection and Microsoft Cloud App Security to enhance data protection and threat detection capabilities across Azure and Office 365 environments.
  • Utilize Azure Active Directory Connect to establish directory synchronization between on-premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, enabling seamless user provisioning and identity management.
  • Configure and manage Azure AD Conditional Access policies to enforce multi-factor authentication and access controls based on user and device risk levels.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure AD Connect synchronization performance, troubleshooting synchronization errors and conflicts to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Azure.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to client IT teams on Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, Intune, and other Office 365 services to empower effective management and support post-migration.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and customize Microsoft Defender for Identity and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 to enhance threat detection and incident response in Azure and Office 365 environments.
  • Proficiency in Exchange Online administration, including mailbox migration and mail flow configuration within the Office 365 Admin Portal and Exchange Admin Center.
  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Information Protection for cloud security and compliance management.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Azure and Office 365 environments.
