Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Strategy
- Conduct client workshops and participate in Due Diligence exercises to define a robust Data Strategy aligned with both business and IT objectives.
- Lead pre-sales activities from qualification to proposal development, including collating responses, conducting reviews with senior leadership, and aligning solutions with client needs.
Solution Development and Evangelization
- Evangelize solutions through Assessment Exercises, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Tool Comparisons, and Evaluations across Cloud/Big Data Platforms and BI & Analytics domains.
- Define monetization strategies leveraging analytics and the full lifecycle of Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive Models.
Technical Expertise
- Design and implement solutions in Big Data Platforms, Big Data Analytics, EDW & BI Projects for Fortune 100 clients.
- Extensive experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), evaluating and implementing various Cloud Technologies.
Technology Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Open-Source Tools & Technologies and Data Management Platforms (ETL/ELT, BI Tools, MDM, Visualizations, Data Virtualization, etc.).
- Expertise in Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, NoSQL & Transactional Databases, Statistical Models, Machine Learning, and Cloud Architectures.
Data Governance and Asset Creation
- Implement Data Governance practices including Data Quality, Security, Lineage, and Data Life Cycle Management.
- Develop valuable and reusable assets for Technology Consulting Group to enhance project success.
Skills and Experience Required
- SQL. 10+ years
- Azure Synapse. 2+ years
- Data Warehousing. 5+ years
- Pre-Sales / Proposal Development. 2+ years
- Apache Spark or Databricks. 2+ years
- Overall 15+ years of experience in database design and development.
Certifications Preferred
- Azure Data Architect certification.
Additional Requirements
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a remote environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in Retail, CPG, and Logistics domains is advantageous.
