Your Role and Responsibilities
Storage Insights is a cloud-based storage management offering enabling simplified management of complex storage environments with capabilities like predictive analysis, automated support process, capacity and performance monitoring, policy based alerting, etc. We are in the process of architecting a cloud-native offering utilizing technologies like micro-services, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Cassandra, LogDNA and NodeJS. We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and experienced developer who can work in a global team. You will deliver iconic customer experiences using the Design Thinking technique in collaboration with customers, Offering Management and architects. An ideal candidate should be fluent in Java, JavaScript, and be familiar with the aforementioned technologies and techniques.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5 - 8 years of relevant industry experience
- 3+ years Java programming experience
- 2+ years Cloud development experience
- 2+ years API/REST application programming
- 2+ years GUI development
- Self-motivated and passionate about the cloud space with strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a multi-cultural environment
- Solid problem-solving skills with an aptitude to learn
- Experience in Storage Domain
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- 2+ years Cloud microservices experience working with the following: CI/CD tools and techniques, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, and Docker
- 2+ years Java Script/Typescript or UI programming experience highly preferred
- Experience working with automation and testing in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development tools and large-scale design is highly desirable
