Join our Client Technology team, comprised of over 100 highly skilled professionals led by experienced finance professionals. Our platform is an industry leader in trading analytics, risk analysis, and operational robustness. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business with institutional backing, delivering financial services to a market-leading standard. As a member of our remote front-end team, you will contribute to the design and development of critical components using React and other cutting-edge front-end technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and build critical components of our front-end applications.
- Collaborate with server-side developers and quantitative analysts to design a rich API.
- Work within feature teams comprising a mix of frontend and backend skills.
- Contribute to the growth and enhancement of our product development group.
- Utilize C# .NET Core for backend services, integrating with a proprietary C++ quant library.
- Deploy services on Linux in AWS, with large calculations distributed over multiple instances and messaging via Redis.
- Use GitLab for source control, CI/CD, and issue tracking, with daily deployments to production using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate closely with a world-class quant analysis group to enhance the C++ quant library.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of C# experience, including large system development.
- 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Risk, or Stock Exchange.
- Proficiency in C# (.NET4+, .NET5, .NET6, .NET7, .NET8, Core3.1).
- Experience with ASP.NET, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitLab.
- Proficiency in development environments like VS2019, VS2022, Rider, and VSCode.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Financial knowledge across various asset classes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
