Adobe Connect, within Adobe DALP BU, is one of the best online webinars and training delivery platforms. The product has a revenue of more than $40M and a huge customer base that has been using it for many years. It has evolved magnificently over time, ensuring it stays on top of the latest tech stack. It offers an opportunity to examine a plethora of technologies on both client and server sides.
We are looking for a strong and passionate full-stack Android developer. You will work on adding new features to the Android app and enhancing existing functionalities.
What you'll do
- Develop new features for the Adobe Connect mobile app
- Troubleshoot audio/video streaming issues
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, other Architects, and Product Managers to design and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features in the Android app
- Introduce best practices for efficient and high-quality software development, including but not limited to unit testing, automated UI testing, coding standards
- Respond to urgent issues requiring fast resolution and deployment of code fixes/updates
- Optimize the app's memory footprint and performance
What you need to succeed
- B.Tech or M.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development with 3+ years of experience in Android app development
- Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of the design and performance of algorithms
- Experience in implementing user interface design
- Solid Java/Kotlin programming skills
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, MVVM architecture patterns
- Having knowledge about threading and performance tuning in Android
- Passionate about the quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising
- Proficient in writing code that is reliable, maintainable, secure, and performant
- Should be willing to pick up new technologies and work on the full tech stack of the product
- Should be able to navigate through existing code and learn quickly with minimal guidance
- Strong Analytical/Logical/Problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other web technologies
- Experience in backend technologies
- Experience in Audio/Video streaming
- Knowledge of AWS services and/or Azure, Dockers, Splunk
- Proficiency with SQL and the relational DBM
