Key Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer at Adobe, you will be an integral part of our development engineering team, contributing as an individual contributor. Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Feature Development
Drive a product feature from design inception through development, QA testing, and production, ensuring high quality in the software development lifecycle.
Agile Development
Work in a highly agile Scrum-based process model.
Application Design and Architecture
Design, architect, and develop applications with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Coding and Testing
Write and test interactive, clean, secure, and efficient solutions.
Problem-Solving
Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions.
Collaboration
Interface regularly with Product Management, Engineering Management, Architects, and Quality teams to deliver features.
Requirements
Programming Skills
Strong concepts and programming skills in writing well-structured object-oriented code in Java.
Front-End Technologies:
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Version Control
Experience in Git/Github or other version control systems.
CI/CD and Deployment
Understanding of CI/CD and the build and deployment process for front-end applications like NPM.
Problem-Solving Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions.
Adaptability
Quick adaptability to new programming paradigms, languages, tools, and problem areas.
Organizational Skills
Outstanding organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-Management
Self-managed, responsive, self-motivated, upbeat, and a fast learner.
Accessibility
Familiarity with concepts related to Accessibility.
