We are seeking a skilled Datastage Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage 11.7, ensuring efficient data integration and processing. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing data warehousing solutions and enhancing our data management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage 11.7.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and loading.
- Utilize Unix Shell Scripts and SQL to work with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
- Apply best practices in ETL performance tuning, optimization, and data migration.
- Implement data integration techniques such as change data capture (CDC), data deduplication, and data encryption.
- Analyze and troubleshoot queries, focusing on Teradata databases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
Required Skills
- 5-10 years of experience in ETL DataStage development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage 11.7.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Expertise in Unix Shell Scripting and scripting languages like Python.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
- Experience with data integration techniques including CDC, data deduplication, and data encryption.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with ETL, Unix, and RDBMS, with a solid grasp of performance tuning and database modeling.
