We are looking for a talented and experienced ETL Developer with a strong background in Informatica and PLSQL to join our dynamic team. As an ETL Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines that will drive critical business insights and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Process Development & Design. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes, including extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into target systems using Informatica and PLSQL.
- Data Integration & Quality Assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and data quality. You will handle data validation, cleansing, and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Optimization & Performance Tuning. Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency, ensuring high performance and scalability of data pipelines. You will work on resolving bottlenecks and improving overall process performance.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting. Provide technical support for ongoing ETL operations and troubleshoot any data-related issues. This includes monitoring ETL jobs and performing root cause analysis for job failures.
- Collaboration. Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and provide updates on ongoing tasks.
- Documentation & Reporting. Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flow, and system architectures. Ensure clear and concise reporting of the status and issues related to ETL operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Informatica Expertise. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with Informatica PowerCenter, including designing mappings, sessions, workflows, and performance tuning.
- PLSQL Proficiency. Strong working knowledge of PLSQL and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks. Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Data Modeling & ETL Concepts. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques. Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data is extracted, transformed, and loaded efficiently.
- Database Management Systems. Proficient in working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and others. Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Problem Solving & Analytical Skills. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
- Communication & Teamwork. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other ETL tools like Talend or SSIS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Cloud-based data solutions is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
