GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone with over 5 years of frontend application development experience, with at least the last 3 years focused on React.js development. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to discuss and align on user interface concepts and applications.
- Review application requirements and interface designs to ensure they meet the user experience and functional goals.
- Identify and define web-based user interactions, ensuring that user flows are optimized for efficiency and usability.
- Develop highly responsive UI components using React.js, ensuring seamless performance across multiple platforms.
- Write application interface code using JavaScript following React.js workflows and best practices, including state management with Redux.
- Troubleshoot interface software, debug application code, and provide solutions to issues with performance and functionality.
- Develop and implement front-end architecture to support complex user interfaces and maintain scalable, efficient systems.
- Monitor and optimize front-end performance, ensuring that web applications are fast, responsive, and error-free.
- Document application changes and develop updates to ensure the system remains maintainable and up to date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that your contributions align with business and technical objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in frontend application development, with at least the last 3 years focused on React.js development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, CSS, and HTML, with a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies.
- Proficiency with React.js and associated tools including Webpack, Enzyme, and Redux to build scalable and high-performance applications.
- Solid experience with UI design principles and a keen eye for creating seamless, intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library to ensure that applications are bug-free and maintainable.
- Familiarity with browser-based debugging and performance testing tools to optimize and troubleshoot frontend code.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced development environment.
- Experience with Geospatial technologies (such as map-based web apps) will be a strong advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
