We are currently seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team at TCS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, along with experience in web services, Spring, Spring Boot, and database management.
Must-have Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8, J2EE, web services, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with version management systems like Git or SVN.
- Strong experience in requirement gathering, design, implementation, unit testing (JUnits), deployment, and maintenance of Java applications.
- Familiarity with ticketing applications for issue tracking and resolution.
- Knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripts, and related tools will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into successful BI solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications in accordance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
- Utilize Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot to build scalable and efficient applications.
- Implement and maintain web services for seamless integration with other systems.
- Perform unit testing using JUnits to ensure the reliability and performance of developed code.
- Work with version management systems to manage codebase and track changes.
- Provide support for application deployment and maintenance activities.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
