As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your role will be integral to aiding in various phases of projects, from defining business problems to designing and deploying innovative solutions. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their digital transformation journey by applying your technical expertise in Java and contributing to high-quality deliverables that drive value for businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Consulting Support. Collaborate with the consulting team in project phases such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, and deployment.
- Research and Solution Design. Conduct research through literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations to explore alternatives to recommended solutions. Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate ideas and approaches.
- Requirement Gathering and Documentation. Create detailed requirement specifications from business needs, define future-state processes, and develop functional designs to align with project objectives.
- Solution Configuration. Configure and fine-tune solution requirements, diagnose root causes of issues, and identify possible solution alternatives.
- Client Interaction. Work closely with clients to understand business challenges, analyze data, and structure it in ways that support strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement. Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to enhance the overall value delivered to clients.
- Technology Awareness. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends, and assess how they can be leveraged for business improvements.
- Problem Solving and Collaboration. Use logical thinking and problem-solving skills to work effectively in team environments and drive results.
- Process Improvement. Assess current client processes, identify potential improvement areas, and recommend relevant technology solutions for enhanced efficiency and performance.

- Strong expertise in Core Java and a broad understanding of the Java ecosystem (Java - All).
- Ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues to diagnose problems and identify solutions.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Experience in requirement analysis, solution configuration, and technical design.
- Knowledge of at least one or two industry domains is preferred.
