- Position available for a senior developer with 7+ years experience in a real-time distributed computing Electronic Trading environment. - Responsibilities will include the design, development and subsequent support of a state-of-the-art enterprise level, high throughput, low latency, highly scalable, highly available, load balanced, fault tolerant & rule based Global Client Connectivity infrastructure. - Must have very good Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills with hands on experience having worked on a large scale analysis / design problem preferably in the Financial domain. - Candidate must be strong in Java, UNIX/Linux, and some messaging middleware, preferable Tibco/RV or Tibco/EMS Strong design, development and architecture skills. - A self starter who is an honest, hard working individual with good written and verbal communications is desired. -Candidate must also have domain area expertise in the Financial industry/Equities business, and particularly in the areas of Client Connectivity and Order Routing/Management Intimate knowledge of the FIX protocol is highly desired Knowledge in xml plus knowledge of relational databases e.g. Oracle.
