Infosys is seeking a talented Java Microservices API Developer to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have over 4+ years of experience in Java development, particularly in building and maintaining microservices and API solutions. Experience within the Telecom OSS domain and knowledge of Assurance and Fulfillment systems will be highly beneficial. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong technical background and excellent collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Microservices & API Development. Develop robust Java-based microservices and design APIs to support new product features and enhancements.
- Collaborative Problem Solving. Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and clients, to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Client Interaction. Engage with clients to understand their existing business logic and systems, providing insights and recommendations for improving their processes.
- Continuous Improvement. Drive and promote an always-on learning culture, actively seeking innovative solutions and improving technical practices.
- Software Design & Architecture. Contribute to the design of scalable and maintainable software architecture, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Deployment & CI/CD. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, ensuring smooth delivery of new features and bug fixes.
Mandatory Skills
- Java Development. Expertise in Java programming and working with Java microservices architectures.
- API Design. Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them into large-scale systems.
- React. Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
- CI/CD. Proficiency in CI/CD tools and processes for automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Telecom OSS Domain Knowledge. Extensive experience in the Telecom OSS domain, with a deep understanding of Assurance and/or Fulfillment domains.
- Analytical Skills. Ability to analyze and understand existing systems, identify gaps, and propose solutions based on customer requirements.
Good to Have Skills
- Python. Familiarity with Python programming for scripting and automation.
- Cloud Technologies. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Microservices Architecture. Solid understanding of building and deploying cloud-native microservices at scale.
