Join our team in developing an industry-leading software solution for the Energy domain, focusing on Oil & Gas production. This comprehensive system covers all stages from geological exploration to production optimization, empowering geologists and geophysicists to research, visualize, and interpret large volumes of geological data.
As part of the Field Development Planning (FDP) project, you will work on optimizing the extraction of hydrocarbons through the integration of geological, engineering, and economic data. The project aims to create detailed development plans for oil and gas fields, maximizing production efficiency. You will collaborate closely with a customer team located in Houston, adhering to Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership. Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Collaboration. Work with cross-functional teams including geologists, engineers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Technical Support. Maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Solution Design. Develop detailed solution designs and implementation plans to guide the development team in meeting project objectives.
Mandatory Skills
- Leadership Experience. 3+ years of experience in leading development teams, ensuring project deliverables are met.
- Full Stack Expertise. 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in.
- Frontend. Angular
- Backend. NodeJS
- DevOps & Cloud. CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes (K8S), Azure or AWS
- Solution Design. Proven ability to create detailed solution designs and oversee their implementation.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- OSDU Experience. Knowledge of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) is a plus.
- Java & Microservices. Familiarity with Java and Microservices architecture is a bonus.
