We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, preferably in both corporate and law firm settings. Specialization in Real Estate/Infrastructure law and a strong background in litigation and dispute resolution are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Independently manage all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution for the company.
- Strategic Advisory. Provide strategic advice to the management team, including briefing and coordinating with external counsel.
- Contract Drafting and Review. Draft and review contracts related to Real Estate and Infrastructure/Facilities.
- Due Diligence. Conduct title due diligence and review project-related documents.
- Court Proceedings. Attend court proceedings and provide briefings to external counsel as necessary.
- Litigation Tracking. Track litigation progress and prepare status reports and presentations.
- Team Collaboration. Actively participate in Legal Department team initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Communication Skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and preferably the regional language, Kannada.
- Technical Proficiency. Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility. Ability and willingness to work beyond normal working hours as needed.
