Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Liferay Portal development in Liferay 6.x/7.x, Java, J2EE, Microservices, SOAP, Rest API, Js, JQuery, DB, Git, Gradle, CI/CD Pipeline.
- Designing and developing ESB integration tools - Cordys, IBM MQ.
- Expertise in technologies - Java, XML, HTML, Python, iHub.
Must-Have

- Expertise in technologies - Java, XML, HTML, Python, iHub.
Good-to-Have
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design principles.
- Strong core Java skills (Exceptions, Collections, Threads, Serialization, Generics).
- Good understanding of web portal technology (architecture, development, deployment).
- Strong Liferay development experience in LR 6. x,7.x (portlets, hooks, listeners, themes, layouts, extensions, SSO, Roles Permissions, IPC, I18N).
- Liferay has experience in web content, templates, structures, blogs, threads, and message boards.
- Strong experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks and related concepts like MVC, JPA, IoC, and AOP.
- Experience with web services (SOAP, REST).
- Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Apache Velocity, XML, Apache HTTP, CDN.
- Experience with relational databases (like MySQL, Oracle, MSSql etc), IDEs (like Eclipse, LDS), issue tracking tools (like JIRA), and revision control (like Git).
- Experience with build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle).
- Experience with continuous integration & continuous deployment (e.g., Jenkins or Hudson, Sonarqube, Continuum).
- Experience developing software in a Linux, Windows, and Mac environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with little supervision.
- Enthusiastic, with a consistent initiative to get things done.
- Ability to motivate the team and work in a cross-location structure.
- Collaborative approach in working with other teams to take up initiatives appropriate to the business and the team.
