As a Senior Developer for Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team of developers working on one of Adobe's flagship products. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you'll contribute to the strategic growth of Adobe by adding key features to our industry-leading vector editing application. From conceptualization to implementation, you'll have end-to-end ownership of your features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap, scope, and features for product releases.
- Take ownership of feature development, from gathering requirements to design, implementation, and testing.
- Continuously optimize existing features to enhance memory and processing efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and contribute to the advancement of the team's expertise.
- Provide strategic direction on architecture and design decisions for future products or technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development.
- Proficiency in modern C++, object-oriented programming, debugging, and profiling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JavaScript/React programming.
- Knowledge of AI, ML, and other advanced modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and in-memory caching systems.
- Understanding of GPU, WebGL, and Skia rendering technologies.
