Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust .NET Core applications ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Utilize Entity Framework Core for effective data modeling, migrations, and advanced query optimization.
- Design and maintain efficient APIs using C# and RESTful services for seamless system integrations.
- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to implement optimal data storage strategies.
- Leverage messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS for asynchronous data communication and workflow management.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to deliver quality releases on schedule.
- Perform thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and standards.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering architecture, APIs, and deployment processes.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and resolve these issues proactively.
Must-Have Skills
- 4–6 years of solid hands-on experience in backend development using .NET Core.
- Deep expertise in C# and Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of modern messaging/queueing systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS.
- Strong exposure to cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure), including deployment, scaling, and service integration.
- Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with good documentation.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
