Analyze, design, develop, deploy and support Service Oriented based solutions utilizing the Oracle SOA Suite software. Primarily responsible for the design & development of BPEL based services. Secondary responsibilities may include design and development of OSB & Mediator based services, composite applications, and business rules utilizing the Oracle SOA Suite. Deliver solutions that have been properly tested for quality, performance, and functionality. Assist with the setup and configuration of the SOA WebLogic Servers for new VM’s, performance & monitoring, and support. Work with vendors to resolve software and hardware level issues. Ensure that business processes and best practices are employed in all aspects of a project including the creation and review of detailed design specifications. Work with the Quality Assurance teams to assist in the development of test strategies and assist in testing applications to ensure that the applications meet the functional requirements. Provide tier-2 production support.
Position Requirements:
5+ years of experience in developing multi-tier JAVA/J2EE applications.
3+ years XML, Web Services, ESB, BPEL, SOA development experience.
Expertise in Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, OSR, OWSM), Business Rules. Oracle Service Registry, Java, J2EE, JMS.
Thorough experience and understanding of Web Services and XML technologies (XPATH, XSLT, WSDL, UDDI, SOAP, XSD, DTD).
Experience designing and developing solutions that implement standard design patterns, promote reusability, performance, and proper exception handling.
Exception handling (all possible scenarios) of both BPEL and ESB instances and graceful termination is required.
Experience with upgrade of Oracle SOA suite from 10g to 11g is desirable.
General understanding of virtualization, preferably using technologies such as Sun Solaris, AIX, Linux Operating.
Experience with BEA WebLogic Server v9.2 and up, setting up WebLogic Clusters, JMX, JMS, Unix, Oracle
Application performance & load testing, tuning and optimization.
Experience fine tuning, monitoring and load testing Weblogic clusters.
Experience in WebLogic configuration and tuning settings for BPEL deployments..
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
