Job Description

As a Product Engineer at Accenture, you will play a pivotal role in transforming client businesses by creating and managing innovative products. Your role will bridge the strategic needs of product development with technical and creative components to deliver compelling solutions. You'll leverage Accenture’s methodologies for technical event storming, detailed design, and continuous product evolution, working closely with clients to bring their vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Development. Partner with clients to develop, release, and manage new products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technical requirements.
  2. Strategic Alignment. Act as the voice between business needs and technical implementation, guiding teams in translating visions into actionable goals.
  3. Technical Expertise. Utilize Accenture’s playbook to create detailed design specifications and manage the product lifecycle.
  4. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to drive innovation and ensure successful product delivery.

Preferred Industry Experience

  1. Financial Services. Experience in banking, payments, or capital markets, with a focus on creating and deploying financial products.
  2. Aerospace/Defense. Experience with designers, suppliers, or manufacturers in aerospace/defense, including military service as a plus.
  3. Supply Chain/Logistics. Experience in supply chain management or logistics, focusing on developing products to address real-time challenges.

Qualifications

  • Experience. Minimum 3 years in a professional agile environment, with at least 2 years as a product owner or business analyst.
  • Technical Skills. Experience with agile frameworks, design workshops (e.g., Domain Driven Design, Event Storming), and product management.
  • Product Lifecycle. Proven track record in the entire product delivery lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond.
  • Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years).
  • Bonus Skills
  • Agile and Scrum Frameworks: Experience with multiple frameworks and tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Workshop Facilitation: Experience in designing and facilitating innovative workshops.
  • Modern Architecture Patterns: Familiarity with API and Event Driven Architectures, and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Compensation. Salary ranges vary by location.

  3. District of Columbia. $77,700 to $177,200
  4. New York. $67,600 to $192,600
  5. Maryland. $67,600 to $154,100
  6. Washington. $77,700 to $177,200
