Tech Mahindra is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Salesforce Architect to join our dynamic digital transformation team. This role is pivotal in shaping and driving the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align seamlessly with business strategies and deliver long-term value. As a Salesforce Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and robust Salesforce-based systems across a range of industry verticals.
This is a senior leadership role, ideal for professionals who have deep technical knowledge of Salesforce platforms and a proven ability to guide large enterprise implementations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other technology teams to design comprehensive solutions that drive innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy & Design. Define, develop, and evolve the overarching Salesforce architectural strategy to meet both current and future business needs. Align architecture plans with the broader digital transformation goals of the organization.
- Solution Delivery. Design and oversee the implementation of high-performance solutions using Salesforce core clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Platform.
- Stakeholder Engagement. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to gather detailed requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints and development-ready artifacts.
- Leadership & Mentoring. Lead cross-functional teams comprising Salesforce developers, administrators, testers, and business analysts. Offer mentorship, establish coding standards, and ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
- Platform Optimization. Conduct regular health checks and assessments of the existing Salesforce environment. Identify performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and areas of technical debt, and propose actionable recommendations.
- Innovation & Best Practices. Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, ecosystem enhancements, and industry trends. Incorporate new features and tools into the architecture to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Security & Compliance. Implement data governance policies, user access controls, and compliance frameworks. Ensure that all solutions adhere to security standards and industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing. Create and maintain thorough documentation for solution architectures, technical flows, interface designs, and decision logs. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and solution delivery, with a strong background in enterprise-level deployments.
- Salesforce Architect certifications are highly desirable, especially, Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud is essential.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Integration Patterns (REST/SOAP, Middleware).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and org security models.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MuleSoft, custom APIs).
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of leading large, complex Salesforce projects from concept to production with measurable business outcomes.
