Responsibilities

Customer Focus

• Continuously evaluates products and services to enhance the quality of the customer experience.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
• Identifies opportunities to differentiate our customer experience from competitors.

Strategy

• Develops long-term strategies and influences cross-category buying processes and standards.
• Implements action plans based on in-depth analysis of product line metrics.
• Provides recommendations on business opportunities and long-term strategy for multiple sub-categories.

Vendor Management

• Expands current vendor selection and secures new brand selection for multiple subcategories.
• Drives strategic negotiations to achieve top- and bottom-line category growth.
• Builds long-term relationships with vendors to create value and opportunities for growth.

Business Operations

• Analyzes inputs and understands the downstream impact of changes to pricing, selection, and convenience.
• Owns the Retail P&L for multiple subcategories and develops revenue and margin improvement plans.
• Creates strategic vendor marketing plans to maximize margin dollars and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

Basic

• 5+ years of experience with Excel.
• 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred

• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
