We’re currently expanding our Data Platform Team, a critical unit powering data intelligence across the organization. From building fault-tolerant feature stores to streaming real-time data pipelines and enabling AI-driven personalization, we work on large-scale, cutting-edge projects that directly impact the customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable data pipelines across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Build and optimize real-time streaming systems that power key business metrics and drive intelligent customer experiences.
- Own and manage our feature store infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with Machine Learning workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and other platform teams to provide a consistent and high-quality data layer.
- Implement data governance, quality checks, and observability for mission-critical pipelines and batch processes.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and bring innovative ideas to the table to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of industry experience in backend or data engineering roles, ideally in the e-commerce or internet space.
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark and Scala, with strong understanding of distributed computing principles and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, Debezium, and real-time databases like Aerospike or Redis.
- Strong understanding of data lake and warehouse solutions preferably having worked with EMR, Athena, Glue, and DataBricks.
- Exposure to modern orchestration frameworks like Airflow, along with strong command over SQL and traditional RDBMS like MySQL.
- Bonus points for experience with diverse data sources such as MongoDB, Neo4j, RocksDB, and more.
- A problem-solver mindset who thrives in ambiguity, can think at scale, and is passionate about creating real-world impact through technology.
