We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Drupal Developer with expertise in PHP and Drupal 9/10 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Drupal-based web applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP + Drupal code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to define and implement new features.
- Ensure the integration of third-party APIs, plugins, and services as needed.
- Optimize website performance by leveraging caching, database optimizations, and modern development techniques.
- Manage Drupal modules, including installation, customization, and configuration.
- Work with Git for version control and ensure smooth collaboration within the development team.
- Implement and follow security best practices to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of code, configurations, and development processes.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Drupal Expertise. Proven experience (8+ years) in developing and maintaining websites using Drupal 9/10.
- Proficiency in PHP & Web Technologies. Strong experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Database Management. Hands-on experience with MySQL and optimizing database queries for performance.
- Drupal Architecture Knowledge. Deep understanding of custom content types, taxonomies, blocks, views, hooks, and theme functions.
- Version Control. Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration.
- Environment Orchestration. Experience with Docker-based environments and preferably DDEV/Lando for local development.
- Security Best Practices. Strong knowledge of web security practices, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding.
- Agile Development. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a collaborative mindset.
- Drupal Ecosystem Knowledge. Familiarity with contributed modules, theming, and active participation in the Drupal community.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Acquia Certified Developer certification.
- Experience with Headless Drupal or Decoupled Architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Drupal development.
- Experience with Drush and Composer for Drupal site management.
