Job Description

Adobe is looking Senior Experience Design Manager in Bangalore, India.

The Opportunity

  • Adobe Design seeks a leader to lead a vibrant team of designers responsible for crafting outstanding product experiences for a portfolio of market leading SaaS products and tools across digital learning, real-time video collaboration and training, media advertising, and content authoring/management. These products have global marquee customers including Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Disney, and Domino’s. This business unit is led and operated out of India, so this is a unique opportunity for a designer to work on a global business team and be co-located with the product and business leadership teams.

  • This role will be vital in working multi-functionally with designers, engineers, product managers, and other leaders - spread out across the globe - throughout the software product development lifecycle. The position requires a pragmatic design leader with a user-centered and data-informed approach to design. The candidate must have a detailed understanding of contemporary design methodologies, working with complex workflows while crafting them into powerful consumer-grade experiences.

What you'll do

  • Lead the experience design team to design solutions throughout the product lifecycle from concept to launch to continuous improvements
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring timely, detailed, and polished deliverables
  • Work with the peer managers and directors to drive the design strategy, process, and align team objectives with pivotal initiatives
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to execute the roadmap and produce measurable results that support business objectives
  • Work closely with UX Researchers to incorporate market analyses, data-driven insights, and user research findings to inform design decisions
  • Work with your team in defining use cases and UX requirements, storyboard, build interaction flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications
  • Present your team's design work to Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and leadership as needed
  • Amplify the design culture and role of design in business, hire exceptional design talent, lead, mentor, and coach designers
  • Participate and present at events, engage community members to collaborate on and advance UX initiatives

What you need to succeed

  • 3-5 years of successfully leading multi-disciplinary UX teams
  • 7+ years of user experience design for software
  • Demonstrate a portfolio of work with a consistent track record for solving complex UX design problems
  • Experience in closely collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting design concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and executives
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to run multiple work streams
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs and user expectations
