Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and ensure the stability of server environments and deployment architecture.
- Take ownership of application health across software, hardware, processes, and compliance.
- Act as the primary contact for application-related issues and queries.
- Develop a deep understanding of hardware and software components, ensuring code quality and security.
- Engage in hands-on development as required, including coding, scripting, release management, and maintenance.
- Ensure all software components adhere to detailed requirements, functional and technical design documents.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to quality assurance through unit and functional testing.
- Design application components and implement architectural changes as directed.
- Provide Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components and contribute to problem analysis.
- Integrate software components following the defined strategy and conduct thorough testing.
- Ensure all code changes are properly documented and tracked.
- Develop deployment routines for target environments and support the creation of training materials and deployment instructions.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Core Java development.
- Strong understanding of microservices engineering, concepts, and patterns (3+ years).
- Proficiency in various design and architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with search engine technologies such as Elasticsearch & Kibana.
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience writing JUnit test cases and working with building tools like Maven and Gradle.
- Proficient in version control systems like Git and continuous integration systems like TeamCity or Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, and exception handling.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Cloud experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Background in Investment Banking.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
