Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes.
  • Develop holistic design solutions that align with business objectives, brand guidelines, and user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.
  • Work alongside web developers and engineers to implement and refine final product designs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in user experience design or relevant industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience independently delivering medium to large-scale projects or collaborating with senior ICs or Managers.
  • Ability to influence across business areas and engage in cross-functional discussions effectively.
  • Proven track record of solving complex design problems with dependencies on other products or teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members on applying design patterns effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly across the organization.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous situations and structured problem-solving.

  • The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $195,000, with actual compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and office location.
