Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the team behind Adobe’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) product. This is a key role in ensuring we deliver best-in-class quality software to our customers. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re seeking someone who is not only technically skilled but also highly user-centric and passionate about the end-user experience.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Developers to ensure we deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Your ability to blend deep technical expertise with attention to detail and user empathy will be critical to our success.

What You'll Do

  1. Champion User-Centric Testing. Understand and advocate for the needs, expectations, and challenges of end users. Ensure that the solutions we develop meet high usability and functionality standards.
  2. Create and Maintain Test Artifacts. Design and manage robust test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts that ensure thorough coverage across features.
  3. Hands-On Testing. Execute both manual and automated tests for complex projects to verify product quality across various environments and platforms.
  4. Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Partner with stakeholders to perform technical defect analysis and contribute insights through regular quality reports and metrics.
  5. Drive Test Automation. Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks that reduce manual effort, improve test reliability, and speed up release cycles.
  6. Enhance QA Tools & Processes. Innovate and continuously improve internal QA tools, workflows, and best practices to boost efficiency and product quality.
  7. Manage End-to-End Testing. Oversee the full testing lifecycle from execution to defect tracking and quality reporting, ensuring full traceability and visibility.
  8. Promote QA Standards. Act as a quality advocate within the team and organization, pushing for high standards in testing, coding, and release processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, performance, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong experience in test automation, with the ability to design and maintain test frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C/C++.
  • Expertise in Selenium and other tools used for UI test automation.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, web technologies, and SaaS-based product environments.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive test plans and test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred but not required, Familiarity with Anaplan, SQL, Power BI, and Power Apps.
  • Passion for software quality and an unrelenting drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.
