We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the team behind Adobe’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) product. This is a key role in ensuring we deliver best-in-class quality software to our customers. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re seeking someone who is not only technically skilled but also highly user-centric and passionate about the end-user experience.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Developers to ensure we deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Your ability to blend deep technical expertise with attention to detail and user empathy will be critical to our success.
What You'll Do
- Champion User-Centric Testing. Understand and advocate for the needs, expectations, and challenges of end users. Ensure that the solutions we develop meet high usability and functionality standards.
- Create and Maintain Test Artifacts. Design and manage robust test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts that ensure thorough coverage across features.
- Hands-On Testing. Execute both manual and automated tests for complex projects to verify product quality across various environments and platforms.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Partner with stakeholders to perform technical defect analysis and contribute insights through regular quality reports and metrics.
- Drive Test Automation. Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks that reduce manual effort, improve test reliability, and speed up release cycles.
- Enhance QA Tools & Processes. Innovate and continuously improve internal QA tools, workflows, and best practices to boost efficiency and product quality.
- Manage End-to-End Testing. Oversee the full testing lifecycle from execution to defect tracking and quality reporting, ensuring full traceability and visibility.
- Promote QA Standards. Act as a quality advocate within the team and organization, pushing for high standards in testing, coding, and release processes.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, performance, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong experience in test automation, with the ability to design and maintain test frameworks from the ground up.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C/C++.
- Expertise in Selenium and other tools used for UI test automation.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, web technologies, and SaaS-based product environments.
- Proven ability to write comprehensive test plans and test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred but not required, Familiarity with Anaplan, SQL, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Passion for software quality and an unrelenting drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.
