Job Description

We are seeking an Engineer to join our SCD & Axioma Integration product group. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our connectivity and integration capabilities, focusing on operational flows and APIs. As a member of our team, you will streamline processes, expand integration with partner products, and contribute to the advancement of our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep business knowledge across Front Office, Risk, and Instruments.
  • Contribute to high-level testing of risk models and the integration of new instrument types.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by auditing processes, optimizing speed, managing exceptions, and automating tasks.
  • Perform DevOps tasks such as data management, upgrades, batch processing, and access management.
  • Collaborate with the team to expand API usage (C#/Java) by incorporating new fields and commands.
  • Integrate partner products into our standard platform delivery pipeline.
  • Build, test, document, deploy, and maintain standard configurations in collaboration with the team.
  • Utilize GitHub and SpecFlow for version control and testing.
  • Evaluate potential partners and assist with proof of concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless integration.
  • Design and implement ETL processes as an ETL developer.
  • Demonstrate excellent business acumen and communication skills, understanding client-specific requirements.
  • Possess in-depth database knowledge along with basic programming and scripting skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including C#, Java, XML, and SQL.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
  • Proficiency in data modeling principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven work experience as an ETL developer.
  • Experience with maintaining and improving existing processes.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as SpecFlow.
  • Experience in team management.
