As a Senior Solution Architect, you will bring your expertise in application modernization, cloud migration, and technology architecture to lead transformative projects for our clients. You’ll be working on high-profile application assessments and large-scale cloud migration initiatives. This role will involve the design, development, and governance of architecture frameworks, driving strategic decisions, and leading technical teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Design & Development. Lead the design and development of architecture frameworks that govern how solutions are produced, including technology strategy, policies, guiding principles, and standards.
- Application Modernization. Oversee the modernization of applications, guiding clients through the process of migrating from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, ensuring future-proof designs.
- Solution Optimization. Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal architecture solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration. Collaborate closely with senior business and technology leaders to ensure IT strategies align with the architectural framework and drive collaboration across business units.
- High-Risk Projects. Serve as a top consultant on high-risk and complex projects, providing expert recommendations and ensuring delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performance solutions.
- Vendor and Contract Negotiations. Provide expertise in influencing product design, and contribute to third-party contract negotiations.
- Project Governance. Ensure project compliance with technology domain architecture standards and provide ongoing guidance to maintain architectural integrity.
- Knowledge Transfer. Lead knowledge transfer sessions, sharing insights and best practices with senior management, team members, and business units.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on enterprise, application, or technology architecture.
Technical Expertise
- 8+ years of experience with Java frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot), Microservices architecture, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in channel architecture for online platforms (web) and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- In-depth knowledge of security patterns for authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange.
- Proven track record in designing solutions that ensure resiliency, high availability, and strong configuration management.
- Education. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of relevant work experience).
- On-Site Availability. Must be available to work on-site at the client office 2-3 days per week.
