About the Role
The Software Development Engineer will be a key member of the Iron Mountain team, responsible for building a global, scalable, extensible, and secure platform managing the sourcing, storage, supply, aggregation, processing, and reporting of billions of clicks and impressions across multiple Iron Mountain services. This role involves working on front-end applications for Billing, Budgeting, Payments, and Promotions Advertiser Experience (AX), impacting the worldwide advertising business.
Responsibilities
- Design and code innovative solutions for broadly defined problems.
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with team members to develop the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
- Own the end-to-end creation of features, ensuring stability, performance, security, and accessibility compliance.
- Collaborate with customers, designers, product managers, stakeholders, and peers on feature ideas.
- Identify and mitigate design risks early to increase the speed of implementation.
- View interface creations from the customer's point of view.
- Exercise judgment when introducing dependencies and optimize resource usage.
- Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of OpenSearch.
