Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical leadership, managing software engineering teams, and setting technical direction.
- Software engineering experience
Preferred qualifications:
- First-line software engineering management experience and interest in people management of smaller workgroups
- Experience translating product vision into engineering goals.
- Strong technical background in front-end or full-stack-related roles.

Responsibilities
- Lead teams of software developers to design, implement and improve Google's Coding Tools.
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers, UX/UXR and other engineering teams to improve our products
- Communicate and negotiate across teams to get buy-in and alignment towards a shared vision
- Understand the developer tooling space deeply and implement best practices that span across multiple user-facing surfaces
- Apply sound technical judgment and identify high ROI opportunities
