We are seeking an experienced and motivated Splunk Team Lead to join our team in Gurgaon. As a Splunk Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Splunk infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance, and leading a team of skilled professionals. Key Responsibilities

Splunk Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of Splunk infrastructure.
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of Splunk components.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for Splunk security, access controls, and data retention policies.

System Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Develop custom Splunk applications, dashboards, and reports to address specific business requirements.

Proactive Monitoring & Issue Resolution

  • Create and maintain Splunk searches, alerts, and saved reports to facilitate proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into Splunk solutions.

System Integration

  • Integrate Splunk with other systems and tools to enhance overall system functionality.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.

Data Source Management

  • Develop and maintain Splunk connectors for various data sources.
  • Implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline routine Splunk administrative tasks.

Process Automation & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.

Training & Documentation

  • Provide training to end-users and IT staff on best practices for using Splunk.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Splunk configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, IT, Computers, or an equivalent field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in managing and maintaining Splunk infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Splunk, SIEM, and ITSI.
  • Strong understanding of Splunk security, access controls, and data retention policies.
  • Experience in developing custom Splunk applications, dashboards, and reports.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
