Position: SQL/SSRS Developer

Job Description:
This is an
exciting opportunity to join the team of a fast growing division at one of the
nation’s largest healthcare providers, contributing to building software and
products for the health insurance industry. The SQL/SSRS Developer will
play a critical role developing enhancements and customizations to existing
applications, as well as contribute to new product initiatives.
Role is focused on two
projects:
1) Support the existing
reporting system: to provide general support functions including trouble
shooting, inspecting/preparing SSIS packages
2) New product
development: writing code, and expanding code base consistent and in support of
upcoming product releases (must review product related documentation to learn
new technologies)
Company just finished
the first release of their system, so the ideal candidate needs to be able to
come in, understand the logic behind info for the first release and expand on
it for future releases.
Typical Day: 20%
production support, and maintenance of current issues, 80% coding, new product
development.
Technical
Skills/Qualifications:
·
5-7 years’
experience developing applications utilizing .NET, C#, ASP.NET
SSIS, SSRS, stored procedures, and ETL experience (using SSIS is fine,
Informatica or DataStage is a plus).

Experience
creating SSRS Reports using relational, multidimensional, or XML-based data
sources
·
Experience
developing/supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2007, 2010, 2012 or greater
·
Basic
knowledge and experience with the Microsoft BI Stack
·
Working
knowledge of the latest versions of Microsoft Technologies
